$DENSITY is the native token of the Old Rock ecosystem.

Old Rock has crafted and continues to expand various use cases for $DENSITY. To address the occasional delay and cost challenges associated with on-chain transactions, we are committed to striking a harmonious balance between on-chain and off-chain systems, ensuring a smooth user experience.

On-chain

$DENSITY is built on Base. Base is a Layer-2 scaling solution for the Ethereum blockchain. Please see Base Network for instructions and more information.

Governed by the $DENSITY smart contract, these tokens in your wallet can be used to:

• Swap on a DEX (for example, swap $DENSITY for ETH)

• Deposit on-chain $DENSITY in to your Old Rock ecosystem balance

Off-chain

Off-chain $DENSITY is your Old Rock ecosystem balance. For more detailed information, please refer to Ecosystem Balance.

While currently visible in the header of the Amplify application, it will soon be featured in the header of any application you use across the ecosystem. Your Old Rock ecosystem balance can be used to:

• Engage with any apps requiring a token balance (for example, play Density Deck)

• Withdraw from your Old Rock ecosystem balance to on-chain $DENSITY
